1. Who we are and how to contact us
Atlanticplus Solution Ltd (company number 14562833), 31 Wagner Close, Basingstoke, RG22 4JD, United Kingdom, is the controller of personal data collected through atlanticplus.net for our own website and business enquiries. Our data protection contact is Jide Cole: jide@atlanticplus.net. This notice is based on our supplied Website Privacy Policy and applies to the public website.
When a healthcare organisation uses AtlanticPlus to manage patient care, that organisation may be the controller and we may process information on its instructions. Its privacy notice and the relevant service arrangements also apply. This website notice does not give consent for treatment or access to medical records.
2. What we collect, when and why
When you contact us, we collect your email address, enquiry subject, message and any contact or organisation details you provide so that we can respond and provide support. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and developing business relationships, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
When you apply to join our provider network, we collect the contact, organisation, location and service information entered in the application, together with the privacy acknowledgement and notice version. We use it to assess the application, communicate with you and administer onboarding. We rely on legitimate interests in assessing prospective providers and, where applicable, steps towards a contract.
When you sign in or use account features, we process the identifiers and authentication information needed to provide and protect access. Contractual necessity and our legitimate interests in security apply as appropriate. Website requests may also generate technical and security records, including IP address, browser information, requested pages and timestamps, to operate the service, prevent abuse and investigate faults.
Please do not include patient records, medical details or other sensitive personal information in general enquiries or provider applications. Health information processed within healthcare services requires a separate applicable legal basis and special-category condition, such as provision or management of health or social care with appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
We may process data to meet legal obligations. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights. We do not treat an enquiry or a provider application as permission to send promotional newsletters. Any consent-based marketing must have a separate, optional opt-in.
4. Who receives data
Access is limited to people who need information for their work. We may use hosting, infrastructure, support and other service providers under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection arrangements. Microsoft receives optional analytics data only when you choose to enable it on eligible public pages.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a proposed business transfer subject to applicable data-protection safeguards. We may share genuinely anonymous aggregated statistics; information that can identify someone remains personal data.
5. International transfers
Service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted international transfer occurs, applicable safeguards are required, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards with any necessary additional measures. Browsing this website is not consent to an international transfer. Contact jide@atlanticplus.net for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
6. Security and retention
We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks, including encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls and authentication. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
We retain information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including handling enquiries, assessing applications, providing services and meeting legal, accounting or dispute-related requirements. Retention depends on the type of record, the relationship and applicable obligations. Contact us for details relating to your records. Cookie-choice storage expires after six months.
7. Your rights and complaints
Under applicable data-protection law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal. These rights may be subject to legal conditions or exceptions.
Send requests to jide@atlanticplus.net or our postal address above. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing information. We normally respond within one month; where a lawful extension is needed, we will explain it. Requests are normally free, although the law permits a reasonable fee or refusal for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or your relevant local supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first.
8. Changes to this notice
This website policy was updated on 19 September 2026. We will publish changes here and provide further notice where required. Using the website or continuing to browse does not itself provide consent to optional analytics, marketing or unrelated processing.
